A man, a bullet and an involuntary trampling of a child. Thus begins the Conspiracy Theories series. The man is Pedro Soares Teixeira, an influential lawyer who moves as freely in the offices of power as in the underworld of crime. The bullet is sent in an envelope to the chairman of a bank's board, the child is left injured in the bushes. And the data is released for several investigations that will take place in parallel: Maria Amado, investigative journalist, and José Madeira of the Judicial Police. The situation of the power struggle in that bank is coming to an end and from espionage to contacts with the government anything goes.
