21. Oh, No! Not THEM!

November 26, 2025 · 29 min

The untelevised pilot for the aborted American remake of The Young Ones, directed and produced by David Mirkin (later a showrunner for The Simpsons) and starring Jackie Earle Haley and Robert Bundy, featuring a returning Nigel Planer reprising his role as Neil (the only returning member of the British original to do so). Filmed in 1989, the series was commissioned but not picked up by Fox, remaining a piece of lost media until 2025, when Planer digitised his personal VHS copy and released the episode online.
